Port Angeles getting in on Twilight festivities for first time

According to the Peninsula Daily News, Port Angeses will get in on the September vampire mania with three-day TwilightFest beginning Thursday. The first-ever festival will be all about Twilight-the best selling four-novel vampire series written by Stephenie Meyer and set in Forks. "We really wanted to have an even that would coincide with Stephenie Meyer Day in Forks," said Barb Frederick, Port Angeles Downtown Association director. "This will allow fans to enjoy both events in the two very different places that are both important to the books. "This is also a way that we can really thank fans for all of the help it has given our stores.

The celebration will begin at noon Thursday with Bella's "re-birthday" at Dazzled by Twilight in Port Angeles. To read more about what is in store click here.

I think its so cute that they are going to give people the opportunity to get married during all these festivities in a meadow. How cute!
